Where to hook up power wire for lights on autometer gauge?

Where to hook up power wire for lights on autometer gauge?

Im installing pillar gauges on my car and wondering where the most accessible place is to tap into for power. Im thinking the fuse block on the side of the dash

or your headlight switch so they are only lit when your lights are on

You can tap into the fuse at the end of the dash for the dash light dimmer. Alternatively, my Formula doesn't have fog lights, so I used my multimeter to find a wire in the harness below the headlight switch that powered up when the lights are on.
