Wats wrong??

Ok every time i go to start my car i need to give it gas to start..does anyone no y this is?

bad opti, bad plugs, bad wires, bad fuel pump, bad gas, bad sensor.....

could be many things.

does the SES light come on? have it scanned that will likely get you going in the right direction

i just got my opti,plugs,wires done like a month ago..far as gas i onli put sunoco ultra in it...

What do you actually do when you "give it gas"? Putting the pedal to the floor puts the PCM in "clear flood" mode.... which might point to a problem, if that's what you have to do. Putting the pedal partway to the floor will increase air flow and clear out accumulated fuel, but not as dramatically as putting it all the way to the floor.

just because they are new doesn't mean they are not the problem.

factory fresh parts can still fail, inproper installation, plug wire burned....
