Tires

I recently got 15x10 weld racing wheels from a friend, any tire size recommendations? I don't want the tire to stick out too far or scrape the fender. 93 z28 stock height. Thanks

Re: Tires

What backspace are the Welds? Should be 7.5" to tuck the tire just under the fender.

Are you putting a drag tire on it or a street tire? We have an FAQ on drag wheels and tires:

They are, yes that looks really nice. I'll go with that size.

Re: Tires

That tire requires hammering the inner fender, recentering the rear axle front-to-back with adjustable lower control arms and cutting back the leading edge of the flexible bumper cover (at least on the Firebird). And that is really too much tire even for my setup (800 HP/800 lb-ft). If you're running a normally aspirated 383 look at a 26x10.5-15 QTP or an ET Street R 275/50-15.
