Ok, I've got my Fiance's 96 Firebird for the next 13 weeks and I want to replace ALL her factory speakers w/ some Infinity Reference's. She has the upgraded 10 speaker sound system from the factory. I've got some questions though;

1.) What sizes are ALL of her speakers?

2.) In the rear hatch, can I cut out the all the plastic crap around the stock speakers (4"ers I think) and put in a 6x9???

3.) I've already got a 10" and a 12" Infinity Reference Sub Woofer, what box should I get? Put the 12" in a Milhouse box from subthump.com, the amp in the little space on the drivers side and put the cover over the space so it'll look clean. Or put a stealth box w/ the 10" and wire the amp up where the spare tire went and wire under the carpeting?

I'm leaning towards the Milhouse setup but I'm still not sure about the box. Does it hold up fairly well? I don't want to get my girl a crap product. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance,

the front and rear size is 6.5, but I would not worry about the hatch speakers. You can go with the Milhouse box or you can have one custom made.
