sea foam

Ok so I sea foamed my car and I tried doing it the way everyone does it but had trouble keeping the car to stay on I took the vacuum off the booster and when I did that the car stalled and would barley start and when I got it going I had to keep giving it gas and when I put the sea foam in I had to keep fighting it to not stall I poured it really slow finally stalled it I waited 20 min and started it up and barley any smoke came out I watched a lot of videos of people and it looked nothing like the others did I do something wrong or is my engine not that dirty I find it kinda odd about the fighting to keep the car going

Its not going to be real happy with the giant vacuum leak created when you pull the vacuum line off the (brake) booster. The smoke comes from burning the SeaFoam istself, not from the dirt in the engine. It should have been smoking as you poured it in, not 20 minutes later when you restarted the engine.
