Problems

hello iam having some issues with my car, first off i bought a beater 4 months ago so my car mostly sits in the garage. when i start it it almost doesn't want to crank almost like a battery??? then while driving back fired a couple of times.when i come to a stop it wants to die but after a few seconds rpm's kick back up to 1100.car ran awesome before i stopped driving it.does the computer need to re learn?? since it has sat for so long??? thank you. also the abs inop light stays on???

The computer does not "forget" because its been sitting in the garage for a long time, unless you manage to let the battery go completely dead, erasing the long term fuel trims.

Sounds like you either have something drawing power from the battery when the engine is shut off, yuor battery is weak, or you have some bad grounds. Might also want to try a fresh tank of fuel.

it might also be the optispark causing the RPM's to go up and down,or maybe an arcing wire

Mine was doing the same exact thing a couple of months ago, i checked the battery and the negative batt. cable was hand tight and it kept resetting my ecu, check that first.
