power windows trouble

power windows trouble

drivers side window wont come down.. i replaced the switch.. still nothing.. i had heard somthing about the motor freezing up.

any suggestions on a motor rebuild.. or should i just go for a replace...or somthing else i should check before i go straight to that motor ?

Just replace the motor, I have never seen a rebuild kit for them, and if there were one, I doubt it would be worth the hassle. But yes, check Shoebox's tech page, it was a huge help to me when I replaced my motors. Especially when it came to the part of drilling access holes to get to the motor rivets.
