sorry i thought i put it, 2001 WS6, no chrome rims though. Just as described, the little bird on the side near hatch is a little faded, and the upper hood scoop grills have a little crack next to both screws on each side. When i went there they said they cant go any lower then 18,550 which i still think is alot. but it does say WS6.

I personally think it is about $1500-2000 to high. I had found a 98' that was a WS6 auto, with 34K on the ticker for $13,900. I didn't buy it ut I think it was a screaming deal and the blue book was only like $11,500 for it, so I don't ut a lot of faith in blue book for f-bodies.

Is there a way to run the Vin to make sure it is a real WS6? Cant people just put the badge on? it only has one badge on Right rear of bumper you know. I mean it is in perfect condition other then those two things, and when i put in the exact info with the best condition i could pick it said avg was 18,075 so i guess it is 550 over price???? thanks

The Trans-Am's seem to be holding their value as collector cars. Camaro's were doing the same until they announced the new Camaro last year. Now the SS prices have been dropping compared to the WS6's.
I'm looking at a black SS for $13,999 with 72k on it (Black book has it for 12,500). That's a little more than I want to pay for that kind of mileage but it has the features I want (T-Tops, dual center exhaust, etc).
I'd like to get a new Camaro but I'm not sure my current '97 Z28 (with 160k on it!) will hold together for another year... definitely not two without some serious cash infusion. If I knew the Camaro would be out this time next year I'd definitely wait... But the definitive announcement is this time two years from now.
What to do, what to do...
