Passenger window problem

When I try to open the passenger side window from the passenger side, the window does not go down. If I try opening and closing the passenger window from the driver side it works. Also the passenger side will only go up from the passenger side control.

Pretty confusing huh

I changed the switch on the passenger side and I still have the same problem! Any ideas? Its weird also cuz the problem doesnt always happen. Sometimes the passnger side goes up and down without a problem.

Re: Passenger window problem

so the only thing that it will not do is goes down from teh pass side switch?

the switch is ground at rest on both sides cause it;s a reverse polarity switch. so first off you need to make sure that you have both ground at the switch on teh pass side. should have ground on the dark blue, and brown wires. also check for hot on the other brown wire coming into the switch.. then probe the dark blue wires and hit the swicth to up and that wire should switch to hot. not test the brown wire and hit down, now that should switch to hot.. see what you have there.
