Re: Panel removal help on a 94 Camaro

The large piece surrounding the gauges and vents is the "bezel, instrument cluster trim plate". There area a total of 5 screws/pins that hold it on. From my Chilton's, the bolt/pin locations, and the correct order for installing/tightening them is (viewed from the driver's seat):

1 - Upper left surface, back from the right edge of the left A/C vent
2 - Upper right surface, back from the left edge of the right A/C vent
3 - Lower left side, under the right edge of the headlight switch
4 - Lower right side, under the left edge of the HVAC panel
5 - Lower left corner, bolt head faces the door panel

I think on the Camaro you need to pull the big, flat upper trim panel up to acces the top of the bezel. Be careful, because it is VERY easy to crack the flat panel, and hard to find a replacement. You may also have to remove the knee bolster.
