Post How to:speakers / hu / ......

Headunit - installing a Kenwood. Who sells an adapter to install? How about an adapter for wiring harness(factory harness to KW harness).... Although I will probably just not use any of the factory harness.

Speakers 1. How do you remove the door panels? Can I fit 5 1/4" seperates any way or just 6 1/2" all around?

Amps. I am going to install 1 Punch 300 for the Solo 10" and a 4 way (brand undetermined yet). Will they fit under the front seats? Probably not , huh? I am trying to maintain storage space in the back, but guess I can just mount them against the back .... Do you guys bolt them right to the car or do you mount a slab of plywood behind the car's paneling?

thanks

bandirector, that is a nice setup on your car, I like it....especially the mounting on the spare..

I have decided to just mount my radio and door /rear speakers, and possibly CD changer for now due to time / $ constraints....

So the questions got easier...
1. How do you remove dash pieces or how much of dash needs to come out (95 F body) to swap radio?

&

2. Guess, that's it then, the rear paneling should be an easy removal right?

thanks

I had a '96 Camaro before I bought my '98 Z28. If I remember correctly, the trim panel to remove the radio is attached by 2 screws in the glove box, and then 2 screws hidden behind the trim panel under the sterring wheel, so you have to remove 2 panels to get the radio trim panel off. They're both easy to remove, so you shouldn't have any problems.

Glad you like my system!
