Hi guys I'm new to the site New to getting an LT1 long story short I bought a LT1 firebird trovit home gave it some gas transmission seemed alright was kicking down then two days later I washed the top of the engine went to drive the car and stepped on it and now it won't kickdown then it started hard shifting so I unplug the throttle position sensor plugged it back in the hard shifting went away but the car still won't kickdown and drive any ideas

What year is the car? Do you have the ability to scan the PCM for codes?

The last sentence.... do you possibly mean “.... won’t kick down in drive..... “?
