I broke the top to my oil dip stick

well im trying to jam my headers in on the both sides and i broke the top to my dip stick ... what do i have to do to get it replaced?

how do i get the dipstick out?

Oil should not spew out, but you might want to cap it off with a piece of rubber hose or something.

I coudl have sworn I responded to this?

either way, what I did when I did this, was honestly use a corkescrew, actually one on a swiss army knife.

I got it in jsut a little bit and pulled it out. I picked a new one up at the dealership I think for $8, try out a parts store like autozone first. I thought I was going to have to pull the dipstick then I tried something silly and it worked.


BTW this was on a 94, 3.4L v6 camaro
