I have change my fuel filter before, now when i go to look at it the back part of the line that is supposed to have the 2 clips.. are they supposed to be sticking out? I cannot see them, and last time i remember they were sticking out and you just puished them in and it popped off, now they are not even visible

all you need to change your fuel filter is:

a box end wrench (i forget what size)
and some rags

the wrench will take off one side, and the clip that holds on the other side can be popped on or off using your fingers with relative ease

His problem is he can't see the ends of the clip. Try pushing the line hard toward the fuel filter. That may allow the ends of the clip to be more visible in the slots. If pushing it doesn't help, try pulling. The clip must be there, or the hose would have fallen off.

If you still cant get it, a pic or two would help the situation.
