My drivers side window will not shut. It seems to be aligned wrong, because it'll make it up halfway then get stuck on the little panel near the front of it. it's supposed to rain soon and I don't have a garage to put it in. Is there a way I can fix this so it aligns straight? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

okay so I just took a good look at the door and I think I may have found the problem.

There's a screw/bolt type thing that slides up and down on a metal rod (left bottom corner of the door). It looks like it should connect to a little hole on the bottom of the window. It's definitely not connected, and it seems that it's meant to keep the window aligned towards the bottom. That would explain how floppy the bottom of the window is.

And this is the un-connected bolt/screw that looks to be the problem (I shot the picture where you can see where it looks like it should be bolted on the bottom of the window):

Only problem is, it doesn't just bolt back together, so I'm not sure how to re-connect that. What do you think?

 

My car has the same problem, I havn't bothered to fix it yet. If you just need to get the window up temporarily, you can just pull on the window to guide it into place while rolling it up. From your pics, it looks like you might be able to weld it back together.
