Help me decipher my RPO codes....

So I was bored and decided to look at the RPO codes on my 2000 v6 camaro. My RPO codes do not show the y87 performance package, but they do show GU6 (3.42 gear), a stiffer handling package and obvious 4 wheel disc. I am completely confused because I was told that the y87 comes with dual exhaust, which mine does not have..... I noticed that it was a dealer ordered car... None of this really adds up, I have the suspension and the rear end gears of the Y87, but don't have the Y87 rpo code.... Help!

No I do not. These are the the important non interior/luxury, more mechanical codes my car has. Also the rear end is a posi, what the heck!

F41 : SUSPENSION SYSTEM, FRT, RR, FIRM RIDE, HANDLING
GU6 : AXLE REAR, 3.42 RATIO
1SB : OPTION PACKAGE 02
J65 : BRAKE SYSTEM, PWR, FRT & RR DISC
NW9 : TRACTION CONTROL, ELECTRONIC
QCB: Tires P235/55R16
1AY: Dealer Ordered Car
1SZ - Discount option package.
8TJ LEFT REAR SPRING P/N (19.9 N/MM, 114 LBS/IN)
9TJ right REAR SPRING P/N (19.9 N/MM, 114 LBS/IN)

You say the rear is a posi...but you don't have the RPO for it (G80). ???

Yeah it has a posi, and all the characteristics that come with one. Once jacked in the air the wheels spin in opposite direction and they only go that oppsitie direction, you can't fight with it because you'll lose. And for driveability: in AZ when it rains the roads become ice, from a standstill if the tires lose traction the *** end completely wipes out like there are no tires touching the ground back there, which essentially there is not.

And was it an option to even have the 3.42 rear end gear ratio without it being a posi?

Also 1SB option code is throwing me for a real loop. In some sites I've seen it is convenience package of sorts, and on other sites it is called: z28 Package 2

One reference site shows this for the 2000 Camaro:
1SB - Option group 1
1SC - Option group base (Z28 coupe)
1SD - Option group 1 (Z28 coupe)
Another reference shows the Firebird had this with the 1SB package. I assume the Camaro would be similar:

Optional Equipment
Major Packages Retail Price Invoice Price
Option Group 1SB
4-speed automatic transmission, removable hatch roof, 6-way power driver seat, remote keyless entry, power antenna, theft-deterrent system w/alarm.
Does your car have any of those features?

Yah I assume that is what it is because my car has all of those. It is still strange that my car has the 3.42 gears and a posi but not the y87 package.... not that it is relaly a big deal, it is just one of those things that just kinda bother you.

From your discription I'm not convinced its posi, what happens if you jack the rear up, put it in N and turn the drive shaft?
