The tachs may be different. The 94 drives the tach from the PCM. 93 drives the tach from the coil, via a filter. Something different in the speedo signal also.... 94+ comes from the PCM, 93 I think the VSS go directly to both the ECM and the speedo directly. The coolant temperature gauge is calibrated differently in the 93, compared to all other years. It will work, but is actually mis-calibrated with "100" next to the 1st hash-mark, rather than "160".
