Hi.I,ve had a starting issue for yrs. on my 94 Z.I have to turn key on & count to 3& make sure i hear fuel pump cycle.Failure to do results in car not starting.I hooked up a fuel pressure gauge& got the following:44 psi,key on,pump running,45 psi(no vacuum),38 psi(14 in vac.),36 psi(motor running),37 psi(key on,engine off),Fuel pressure rose after a couple mins. to 44.I checked the fuel pressure reg.& it held pressure.I have a MSD Opti,MSD 6A,& MSD Coil(just installed).I have a MAF+ Translator & leaned out the fuel 2%& had rebuilt/flow benched 24 lb. inj. installedin 2013/14.Car has no drivability issues/high speed issues.Pl. advise& thnx for any advice..Darren

 

Are you saying that sometimes the fuel pump does not run when you turn the key to "run" and "start"? If so, have you checked the fuel pump relay?
