In-tank fuel pump

Installed a Racetronix kit in my 95 T/A. Beware, if the pump does not fit the canister, Racetronix will not acknowledge the problem and will ask for the canister and pump for inspection and installation. I posted the problem in their forum and the post was deleted. I carefully sanded the canister nozzle using 120 grit and a socket cube until the pump fit. Customer service from Racetronix left a lot to be desired.

Welcome to 2001

There's been a lot of posts on this in the past,

Did the pump look different on the bottom than the one you had?

Significantly different, the stock pump has a rubber bushing, the new one has an o-ring.
