Ignition switch


Hey how’s it going you guys, I just need to know what does the black connector with the single orange wire go to on the ignition switch on the column ?

The ignition switch diagram shows two connectors at the ignition switch:

C1 - pin A, orange. Nothing else.

C2 - 4 wires - red, brown, pink, yellow

Not sure where the connector is for rhe turn signals, headlights, and other things that route to the bottom of the column.

The factory service manual will have connector face diagrams and pinouts, with location. Free download if you don’t have it.

c1 pin A orange wire looks to go to the turn signal from the diagram you posted if I’m correct.

I interpreted the question to be where the single wire connector plugs into the ignition switch. Appears that if he inserted the blue plug first, the black connector would only fit in the remaining pin holes one way - sort of like putting puzzle pieces together. But I could have missed the point…. not an unusual occurrence .
