Good replacement fuel injectors...

I was just wondering what everyone is running in terms of fuel injectors... My car is in the 350 RWHP range and right now the vette LT4 28# injectors I have are maxing out when I reach the 6000+ RPM range (96-97% duty cycle).

I was thinking either the Ford SVO or ACCEL 30# injectors from summit racing or the delphi/lucas 32#ers from racetronix? Was leaning towards the Ford injectors (FMS-M-9593-B302 right??) but the Accel's are 40$ cheaper for the set.

What do you guys think?

And one more question, when I install my injectors, I will have to update my tune obviously, but is there just a constant in the PCM that will need to be changed for the new injectors? or is it more elaborate than that??

Thanks again.

I think it's just a parameter change and is not difficult to do. I'd do SVO's.

Every Accel part I have ever had has failed on me. I like my SVO 30s. I have no complaints with mine at all. Do a search on Accel injectors if you don't believe me.

SVOs or the Racetronix injectors, stay aways from the Accels.

I got my Accel 30# from Joe Overton and they've been flawless for almost 3 years...I have heard horror stories though...Maybe the older stuff had issues...Mine have been great...

Allright I ended up ordering the SVO 30# injectors from summit (red tops)
Now I just need to figure out how much they flow in the LT1 fuel system for tuning, I remember reading it somewhere while searching I believe it was 31.6# or something like that...

Thanks for the help guys

It about right at 32#' for LT1 stock fuel pressure of 43.5.

Assuming the SVO's are flow rated at exactly 30.0 #/Hr at 2.7bar, the flow constant would be 31.62 #/Hr at the LT1's stock 3bar pressure rating.

Well I had a friend of mine look at my .bin files that we are about to mod before installing my injectors and he noticed that in my PCM the constant is set at 27.2# right now (I have 28# injectors from a LT4 corvette). I thought it would be right at 28# since I would guess that the LT4 fuel system would be the same psi as the LT1's?? I could be wrong about that though.

Is there a specific reason why my tuner (have a tune from pcmforless.com) would have done this that I should know about? Is it so my car runs a bit on the rich side?

This looks like it's going to be more complicated than dropping in my SVO 30#ers and changing the constant to 31.62

Thanks for the help.
