Ok I know this is going to be a stupid question, but i was looking at a diagram today and it showed you running your existing fuel line into a "Y" block and then running 2 supply lines into each fuel then coming out of the other end of the fuel rail and into a regulator that has a return line on the bottom of it. Is this right. I thought the fuel went through the regulator before the rails.

The diagram is correct. In a "recirculated" fuel system, the fuel pressure regulator is on the return side, not on the supply side. FPR opens and closes to control the fuel pressure by controlling how much fuel returns to the tank. Stock LT1 fuel system is recirculated, with the FPR on the return side.

OK. Injuneer you mentioned earlier about the fuel heating up. I noticed today that now with my canton valve covers the fuel lines are actually laying on the valve covers. Would that be a problem do you think. I actually have now put them above my STB but i don't know if that might be a issue

Ok, Update on this issue. I just installed the racetronix kit. & im using the stock regulator. The same problems seem to occur. But not as bad. I drove the car for an extended period yesterday and crusing in 3rd gear @ 55MPH my rpm was around 3000. My boost gauge showed 20IN vaccumn steady. After about a mile the A/F ratio started to go way lean and the FP started to flucuiate & you could hear a slight backfire / mis. If i let off the throttle just a little it starts to go back to normal. Would a bad inline booster pump cause a issue like this. I have changed the filter. Does anyone have a suggestion
