Fuel distribution?

well I broke the crank in my car awhile back. When we pulled the heads off cylinders 1-4 were running good or a lil lean and 5-8 were rich as hell. I was thinkin of upping the fuel pressure but not sure that will solve my problem. Im looking at making around 500 on the new build and dont want this problem to bite me. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

The fact that you were "rich" on the first cylinder in the fuel distribution system flow (#8) and on the next-to-last cylinder in the flow (#5) would seem to eliminate fuel rail and fuel pressure problems completely.

Poor fuel distribution can be caused by unmatched/dirty injectors, not the fuel pressure. The stock rails will easily provide uniform fuel distribution in full sequential mode, at the 500HP level. There are also some settings in the PCM that affect individual cylinder fuel trims. Maybe your tuner screwed that up.

Moving to "Fuel and Ignition"........

sorry about it being in the wrong section. if it was a tuning issue then its easily fixed. Im looking at running 11.60 index and being capable of high 10s. maybe better than that but i set lower goals and exceed them. Looking at 12.5-13/1 compression and workin out the other details.
