Dynaspark Opti-Spark Question?

I use the Delteq Ignition coupled with an old beat up back of the barn GM OptiSpark (works great so far). Question about the dynaspark is relating to the use of one of their systems over the other. The GEN III that is made primarily for the Delteq/LTCC type systems and the conventional LT1 Vented style. Thing is I'd like to use the conventional with my delteq and just cap off the spark plug wire outputs until one day the inevitable happens and my Delteq box goes out (It's only $75 more that way). Then I can just utilize the opti as it's manufactured. I prefer to do it this way so I don't spend over 1 grand total in 5 years on the two different parts. What I want to know is will this affect the dynaspark adversely in any way by doing this? Thanks.
