what fuel setup?

what should i go with? im planning on 6 lbs of boost with a s trim with stock heads and a 224/236 xe cam. id like to use nitrous as well when im not at full boost with a progressive controller.

i was thinking of going with the racetronix setup in there website:
http://www.racetronix.com/Racetronix..._Pump_Kit.html

for injectors i will install a accel DFI so i cant remember what impedance i need, high or low? but what Lb/Hr as well?

any other suggestions welcome, thanks

Depends....as I'm sure rskrause will chime in...he had over 750HP with the stock lines and a BAP...not sure which injectors Rich was using though.

Boost and nitrous is something that you have to be VERY careful with...even when you are running moderately low boost. Again...you may want to have Rich chime in as he is running boost, nitrous and water/alky injection. He and others would know far better than I.

And what do you mean "use nitrous when you are not at full boost"? Unless you plan on either a turbo setup or using nitrous at partial throttle....you are going to be climbing through the boost.

Also...what is your current setup? Forged bottom end I hope.

Give a few more details as to what you would like to see the end result being.....if you plan on just a few lbs of boost and a shot of N2O, why not just up the boost?

Many issues here. Racetronix has nice stuff and seems to have decent support. A friend bought their twin in-tank setup and it's nice, works good. How much pump do you need? Depends on the amount of N2O you plan to run, which you did not specify.

As far as your statement "use nitrous as well when im not at full boost", do you have in mind the same way I use mine? A relatively small shot that you turn off at high rpm? That works well with a centrifugal SC, which doesn't provide a lot of boost at low rpm. For example, in one configuration I have tried my times improve by ~0.5sec with just a 70hp shot turned on at launch at off at 4,500rpm (so it's basically on in just first gear). But you don't need a progressive controller for this, just a window switch.

If you get an Accel DFI, you can use either high or low-z injectors and it will also control the nitrous (either two or four stages, I forget which).

i do have forged pistons and rods and a scat 9000 crank. i have purchased accel DFI long ago and havent installed it yet. i was thinking of using the nitrous as you do rich, only at the track. im planning on trading my jordon musser stage 2 heads for my buddies barely used vortech s trim. thats why i have so many questions. i originally wanted to stay with lower psi of boost to maintain drivabilty issues. maybe i should be asking how much boost i can use with stock fuel lines.

should i just ditch the nitrous and go with higher boost? id like to see somewhere of 550-600rwhp. the cam ill be using is the 224/236 xe. i thought with about 6 lbs of boost id see 420rwhp and add another 100 shot to it. could it be run together with tuning? or should i just add more boost? what would be a safe amount of boost and still be reliable? 10? 12? but my thinking is if i go higher boost then ill be spending more on things like the dual tank setup and other costs.

You will go faster and probably last longer with the lower boost + nitrous combination.

I saw 733rwhp with stock lines and regulator using a 255lph intank and a Kenne Bell "Boost-a-Pump".

Rich, didn't the accel injectors have issues with SC motors. I thought they had issues with locking up?

I am not sure who is currently making the Accel parts. I do know they don't manufacture them, someone else makes them.
