What Bottom End/Heads Are You Guys Running?

Just curious, what some of the high-horsepower (550+RWHP) boosted cars are running as far as the bottom end and head combo goes ...

I want to get some ideas of proven parts that will last.

Please post following:

Heads (Milled or not)
Head Gaskets
Pistons/Rings
Rods
Crank
Main Caps (2/4?)
Bearings

Any other relevant information such as HP/TQ, etc.

Heads-stock mildly ported with stock valves

Pistons/Rings- speed pro forged "blower pistons" -20cc/speedpro rings
Rods- stock rebuilt and magnafluxed
Crank- stock polished journals

I've got over 30,000 miles on this combo and will build my next motor the same way.

Thanks to everyone that posted! Keep it coming. Just curious, what compression ratios are you guys seeing also?

I want to do this right and only do it once so I am trying to see what parts seem to really hold up/which direction I should be going with this if I am making a boosted 383 that is predominatly a street car.

Well that's what I have - a boosted 383 that's primarily a street car. I have 9:1 static compression, but to do that I had to open up the head chambers a few cc's as they were shaved to stock 58cc when I ordered them a long time ago.

Not in the car or running yet (but will positively be over 550), but...

Unmilled LE Ported Trick Flow Heads
Copper Head Gaskets (O-Ringed Block)
Custom -30cc Dished Diamond Forged Pistons....I'd have to look up the rings
Lunati Pro-Billet Rods
Lunati Sledgehammer Crankshaft
Milodon Splayed 4 Bolt Caps
Have to look up the bearings

Motor was built to take pretty much whatever I can throw at it.
