Got some new parts and update on the car...

I'm switching to a header kit from RealQuick, log kit is gone. This should allow me to make as much power as I need.

When I pulled out the motor I noticed some rust on the spark plug, upon tearing it apart, we found the block cracked. At least this explains my issues I had with it heating up some on the highway.

Started tearing into the engine bay first, and destroyed the garage. Some of you may remember before that I did a full wire tuck and filled in the holes, we are going over it again and covering up even more this time. Here is a before pic..

Starting to rip it apart...

Making room for the new Griffin radiator...

First test fitting...

block off plate test fitting...

.....see rest in the 2nd post....

Then...into the dash...

Rerouting the harness to the top...

Still a work in progress, new block gets dropped off this week at the machine shop, and putting my old internals back in it(stock crank, eagle h beam rods, and wiseco pistons) along with doing another splayed main setup.

Picked up a set of ported heads from none other than Mr. Lloyd Elliot and also a small cam. I'll be keeping the stock wheels and switching to a mt drag radial. 9's at the ltx shootout on the 16's or bust.

Holy Cow man! You're really ripping that thing down bare! That usually means good things

What are you hoping for power wise when you get it all done?

I'd like around 700rwhp THROUGH the big stall/th400.

Currently still the stock 10 bolt, 8.8 will be coming soon.
