The motor is actually making peak power at 6,400rpm.

It's a .630 lift

Thanks a bunch,
Wes

752rwhp is a lot of ponies, but don't overlook that it might be 852 with a bigger 'cooler. juicey has *big* heads and a *big* cam, so I wouldn't be surprised to learn the aftercooler was costing 100 rwhp. That's pretty extreme in my book

What are my options man?

Help a brother out. Intercooler or wha?

Is there a different type of aftercooler I can go with? Something that flows better?

Wes

But one thing: its still pumping out a lot of horsepower with very little boost... Im tempted... if I get some bucks I will buy out the YS-trim...

I'm using a Spearco air/air made up from 3 of their 110 cores, each of which is rated at 540 cfm, so that's a total rated flow of over 1600 cfm. I can't find my Turbonetics/Spearco catalog right now, but IIRC the Aftercooler core (or their equvalent to it, sizewise) is rated at somewhere around 700 cfm.

Don't get me wrong here, you're making excellent power! The last ponies get very expensive! But I'm sure you would see a power increase with a bigger cooler. Get the Turbonetics catalog and start scheming

I've added some recent intercooler pix to my para.noid site, click on 1000 hp! then page 4 and page 5.

If I end up keeping the car I will definately go to a intercooler setup like you have.

I'll also put an auto in.

Later,
Wes
