If you had a guy go 12.0@125mph on say a 2.2 and a guy go 10.85@125mph on a 1.50, I think the 10.8 guy is maxed out. The 12.0 guy's combo might have more in it depending on the setup. Look at Scott's WS6, he went from 10.8 to 10.3 just from fixing his shift points. If the 12.0 guy is a stick and is only hitting 97 mph at the 1/8th, just think if he could hit 100 mph at the 1/8th, maybe he can hit 126-127mph. I think it really depends.

Yes but wouldn't you max out more or less at the same trap speed as he did?? given you could gain the mph everywhere if it sticks...

I saw on ebay a YS-trim with vortech aftercooler.. I was wondering if the vortech aftercooler is a restriction and I wanted to know if its viable or not on the street?

If you have a 346, then buy a T-trim.

How fast do you want to go, or how much power do you want to make?

I'd get a YS Trim if you want to make 700-750rwhp and go over 140 mph.

No, im looking (if I where to go to the track) for 135mph and 10.5 or so...

Power??? 630-670 max no more than that... THe thing that has me all messed up is that the mustang guys use the YS-trim for 540rwhp without thinking it twice and they claim big HP numbers...

I wanted a T-trim since going up to the YS-trim and all the intercooling and stuff was a bit steep for me right now, being a student... But then again... didn't find any used T-trim either so I sent my S-trim to be fixed by vortech and I will "overspin" it in order to get more power down low even if it means that I get less total power(which I dont really care, as long as it runs harder)

My car went 9.94 at 139 with the s-trim and aftercooler (with a full load of ice in the Mustang ice box). 7.00/2.75 pulleys and shifting at 6200. You should hit your goal easily with the s-trim

It's right around 12psi.

Vortech V7 YS trim blower @ 12psi
Vortech 7' crank pulley - 3.33' blower pulley
Vortech By-pass valve
Vortech After Cooler

I'm still utilizing the T56 transmission as well. The car is fun to drive. I'm yet to put a good tire on it, but the time is coming. Winter will probably bring a 400 turbo. I'm not sure what convertor to go with, and would love to get some input on that.

I've been running 315/35/17 drag radials on it and having a lot of fun on the street. Mopped the floor with a kenne bell 03' Cobra last week.
