Vortech YS-trim

Based on my site searches, no one appears to be using the Vortech YS-trim, except me. And, yes, it will fit under hood.

We're still running the 8-rib belt and haven't found anyone with cogs for the LS-1. Where did you buy your cog pullies?

yea, they responded in an email that they had nothing for an LS1. We're running a hydraulic cam around 6500 rpm so slippage has not yet become an issue.

Might try Vortech-the C5/Z06 kit comes with a cog.

I too am running a Y/S-trim, it is by far the quietest of the superchargers I have run/heard in the past. I am running a 50mm cog setup from ASP, they can custom make just about anything. You just have to take the appropriate measurements for them to work with.

YS-trim

I spoke with auto specialties and they can make us a cog setup. We hope to make the 8-rib work by shifting at 6,500 with an
8-inch crank pulley and 3.12 blower pulley. If not, we have plenty of room for the cog.

It turns out that all I had to do was ask, and the "YS" guys came out of hiding! If you guys can run mid-9's on just the YS, we may have shot at 8's with the nitrous express setup. Whattya think?
