Craig "Top of the" Hill made a bolt-on nerf bar from 1 1/4" steel tube that tucks right behind the front fascia. It bolts to the ends of the front frame rails in place of the factory battering ram. It runs all along the leading edge of the fascia. It should handle the parking lot bumps.

I still drive the car a lot on the street, including the 50 mile round trip to work (occasionally).

A lot.

I went in thinking $1.5k for mounting the Spearco and doing all the blower inlet and outlet plumbing. Bzzzzzz. Wrong answer. Top of the Hill works on time and materials. Craig said there were more than 50 hours on the ticket by the time they were done. The 4" inlet was a big chunk of that (count the welds!). He charged me for 40 hours. 'nuff said!

BTW, I know it's a sick amount of $$, but I'm not a young'n like most of you probably are, so I've got a few more bux to play with. Been out of school for almost 20 years.

Wow you gained 33mph from the 1/8th to the 1/4, my friends only run like 134mph with that 1/8th... nice!

What's considered normal for a FI car to pick up from the 1/8 to the 1/4? Mine picks up 32.

Yeah but he had decent traction and ran a 9 second pass. You are pedaling it for the first couple hundred feet right?

I'm not pedalling it at all. I'm not launching with boost but it doesn't feel like it's spinning when it comes in.

Different scenarios, he's launching on boost and you are not.

So it's likely that if I launched on boost that it would close the gap between my 1/8 and 1/4 mph?

PSJ,
We did some alternator, sway bar and differential work this week, and installed a 2.95 pulley for grins. We're racing at Topeka tomorrow and Saturday, and should have much better times to post.
