Question Twin Turbo Question - Wastegates and Blow Off Valves

I understand single turbo applications...to acheave a 16psi boost, T67 turbo, 16psi Wastegate and 16psi blow off valve.

What about twin turbo applications? two T67 turbos, two wastegates 8psi each and 8psi blow off valves...

...is that correct? They share the boost.

Probably have better luck getting a response on the "Forced Induction" forum.

The twin turbo setup would still use 16psi wastegate springs. And BOV springs are 'tuned' for your elevation, not for how much boost you're running.

What do you mean? Each wastegate would have to be calibrated for 16psi..? As far as BOV...ELEVATION?

Yes. Two 9 volt batteries in parallel is still 9 volts, not 18.

Because a BOV requires vacuum and boost to open, spring selection depends on how much vacuum your engine pulls, so it depends on your elevation (and if you have a non-factory cam, etc.)

I'll probably get penalized for this but dude you da ****! Now it makes sence. The pdf file you attached rates only for up to 12psi...what if I want to go up to 20-25psi?

Re: Twin Turbo Question - Wastegates and Blow Off Valves

That's not boost psi, it's negative psi (vacuum). 1 psi = 2 inches of mercury.
Again, the psi of boost you're running does not factor in anywhere.
