Turbo Build

First and foremost I wanna thank RealQuick (www.lt1boost.net) for giving me advice on this. Thanks alot man wouldnt have known where to start without ya!

Here are the car specs.
96 z28
Stock Rebuilt Engine (not cool)
224/236 Cam
3600 Stall
Walbro 255
42.5 Lucas Inj.
Stock Radiator in Stock Loc.
Flex a-lite slim fans
Master Power T-70 .96AR
2.5 Pass Log
2.5 Crossover
3 in. Main Log
3 in down pipe hooked up to Magnaflow catback.
xo2 racing 44MM Wastegate
xo2 racing 50MM BOV
FMIC

Well got the logs mostly done. Still need to clean up the welds with a grinder. The welds didnt turn out as clean as I wanted but its my first time doing a turbo kit with a cheap welder :thumbup Great learning experience so far.

Great job dude! Its getting there. Double check you will clear the k-member where the pass. side log drops down and also the clearance for the starter. You might be fine, but just double check.

Wastegate placement? Crossover, or can I do it at the main log before the turbo? Vent to atmosphere or run into the downpipe?

I would place as close to your turbo as possible. Here is where I placed mine. I vented to atmosphere. I think its a matter of personal prefrence.

Oil return (5/8 heater hose to front of pan??)
02 sensor poistioning
Wastegate(gonna have to go on the crossover)
Load new tune
Then all the cold side piping. Working on the intercooler mounting and coldside tonight probally. Gotta get it done to have the machine shop tig the bov on.

Here is what I have done tonite.

Mounted intercooler
All Hot parts Done
02 installed
Wastegate Installed
Down pipe Connected to exhaust.
Dont mind the air fiter it was one I had laying around the shop.

For the oil feed and return the turbo has a -4an fitting for feed, -10 an for return. Where is the best place to buy the turbo feed? What size of adapter do I need to come outta the block? For return do they make a weld-able an fitting?

Also got a digi camcorder for x-mas

I can't tell quite how high it is, but you may be ok. As long as the outlet on the turbo is higher than the point in your pan, and it slopes down to the the pan you are ok.

Bottom of the turbo is pry 2-3 inches from the sway bar it looks quite a bit higher than the front of the pan.
