a-trim any good
Re: a-trim any good
Well, it was good enough to get my modded fox-body (H/C/I/E) into the high 11's.
13.7 @ 102 N/A
11.9 @ 113 Blown
Food for thought...
I was always told that the A-trims were too small, but it worked good for my car. Throw in a few more cubes though, and it might be a different story. (302 vs 350)

YES! Go to vortech's site and read the compressor maps. The A-Trim is working pretty hard to feed a hi-po 302, much less a 350 or worse yet, a 383. Think about it, if the A-Trim was capable of supporting those extra cubes, wouldn't vortech offer it as a base LT1 kit? If you ran it, you would have to spin it really fast, which in a nutshell equals much higher air temps, and less power.
Just my $1.25

Re: a-trim any good
you can send your A-trim to vortech and they will upgrade it to a S-trim for around $800. you will need some serious pullying to get alot of boost (8+psi) on a 383. It depends on your set up and compression.
