SC MAF on Pressure Side after BOV?

Don't think I am clear on all the issues with MAF placement on a SC. Is there a issue with putting the MAF on the boost side, after a BOV on a low boost (<8) SC setup? ("After" meaning TB<MAF<BOV<SC.) Is there a reason why I'd want to only put the MAF on the intake side before the SC?

Most apps run the MAF on the pressure side after the BOV or Bypass. The new Procharger systems use this arangement. But, MAF sensors can be fowled by oil. Many run a oil separator on the valve covers and pcv valve. I run my MAF on the blower suction side. I use 2 bypass valves to re-circ the air. I cannot dump the air or it will fuel very rich due to the lost air already measured by the MAF. The only advantage of the MAF on the suction side is no oil being passed thru it. B.

I'll look for an oil seperator but I see I might have to clean the MAF from time to time. Thanks!

2 reasons for putting it on pressure side-

1.)You can put your filter right off the elbow going into your supercharger- that alone might net you an extra lb of boost- think about trying to suck thru a long straw or a really short one...which is easier?

2.) Your bypass can be vented to the outside which makes a nice 'whoosh' sound everytime you either rev or shift your car driving around- some might think its 'ricey' but a blow-off coupled with a nice sounding V8 is nothing close to 'ricey' in my book. Besides- Ricers don't use boost- 'tuners' do, they get my respect...

In a side note- just make a habit to clean your MAF when you change oil...its a good habit to get into either way-
