Checked he height last night to see how low the pipe was in front of the K-member and I was wrong what i stated before

K-member sits 13.5" off the ground
Lowest portion of the pipe sits 13" off the ground

It only hangs down 1/2"

Thanks Marcin! I thought you were parting your car out?

Hey Jon, when you run your exhaust back past the oil filter on these kits, do you keep it on the driver's side all the way to the back of the car? I'm trying to figure out how to route a 3.5 or 4" pipe over to the passenger side without putting it too close to the ground...

The customer is required to connect the DP to their catback... so I would recommend swinging over to the pass. side in the same spot as a y-pipe for LT's (I think it crosses over near the tail shaft of the tranny).

I'll have to look into that. You don't happen to have any pics of installs like this, do ya?

I dont. You need to find some nice underneath pics of a car with a mufflex y-pipe or some sort of y-pipe for LT's.

If I ever get my car on my buddies lift I'll get some pics of how we did my exhaust. It's all 3" coming from the drivers side by the oil filter, back just behind the tranny and crossing over to the passenger side, then back to an 18" bullet. It's VERY quiet, and my car has been mistaken for a v6 already, LOL.

This is from Jim's car at speedinc. Its an LT1 setup... with TT's. Ignore the piping on the pass. side... the driver's side is where your DP would be, and it just crosses over like the one here. You can do a bunch of difference ways... down near the tailshaft of the tranny gives you the most room.
