how hard to plumb your own FI tubing?

I have something like that intended for aluminum. I never used it though.

Why not use silicone tubing for the whole thing that would be easy wouldnt it?

That would be super expensive. I am not sure of any other downsides. I wonder if it would swell in long lengths under pressure.

or you could just use the silicone tubing for the bends rather than cutting and welding, might make for an easy dissassembly as well, what about that? Also where do you get the tubing to make the plumbing?

Since I am a cheap date, I used a big truck chunk of black radiator hose, and cut it up for my couplings on the turbos and intercoolers. Cost me like $12 for 3' if I recall, 2-1/2" diameter.
