Fuel problems

Ok.. I have been having some weird problems the last week or so. I had a kinked line on the inline fuel pump which was causing the car to fall flat at 4500rpm.

Now all of a sudden the fuel pressure isn't rising with the boost as it should. I have the T-Rex pump and a FMU. The fuel pressure at idle is between 35-36psi. With a little bit of throttle, still under vacuum it goes to about 48psi,but the pressure is only going up to ~55psi under boost. I checked the FMU at idle by using a bike pump and giving it 8psi and it immediatly jumped the fuel pressure to around 90psi. So the FMU seems fine. I changed the fuel filter today, no difference. The inline pump is running, and the voltage to it is 13.5 volts.

My original inline pump died a couple months ago, and I had a used one I bought from a board member about 2 years ago. It seems to be running fine, I can hear it when I first turn the ignition. Its definatley on while the car is running. But could it be faulty and not pumping like it should?

Thanks

Re: Fuel problems

BUMP!

I am pretty sure its either my intank or inline fuel pump.. Any easy way to check without just replacing them?

Thanks
