I am assuming that car isn't the same as the one in the sig since it doesn't have stock suspension.

It is stock style, though.

I've had a lot of little issues with the hub, I wouldn't necessarily pin it on the crank, but I've heard some bad stories about eagles.

True, but stock does not equal stock style. Nor does stock heads=stock ported heads.

The car is fast however.

True, but in the racing community, aftermarket replacement parts=stock. Not only does this apply to F-bodies, but in all race organizations.

Ladder bars, 4-links, ect. are obviously not stock.

junk that is whats wrong with it
after 400 miles my crank snout snapped(eagle says due too much belt tension on the 12 rib belt ) and that was just putting around breaking the motor in. Scat crank has been in the car for around 2k miles now, i've dynoed the car about 4-5 times, and made 8 passes+street racing some, and no problems knock on wood.

yes, stock style. orig. panhard and LCA's aftermarket TQ arm and k-member. believe it or not heads are stock. reason for posting this was that i was so impressed by what you can get out of a stock top end. forced induction just doesn't play by the same rules. hyd. cam gave out at 6450 rpm or it would have had a little more in the 1/4.
update: last sat it went a 9.523 @ 142.81

Re: Boost Roll Call... if you've got it, come on in!

knowing that the head gaskets could only take so much i ran a set of underdrive pulleys which gave me right at 14# boost. sure enough we blew a gasket but it was worth the R&D IMO because this was sort of a back up motor anyway. we just wanted to try a few things with it. i'm so impressed with it though now i'm thinking of putting a solid cam in it and o-ring / stud the heads and see what it will do.

What gaskets were you running? Instead of o-ringing the heads, you might try a Cometic gasket-we have had lots of luck with them.

Your car is FLYING for what you have in it!

Are the stock heads ported? Intake ported?

Re: Boost Roll Call... if you've got it, come on in!

nothing is ported. the motor wasn't assembled with this kind of boost in mind so the gaskets weren't anything special. we run 17# boost on the other motor with o-ringed copper. never had any problems so i'll probably just go with that.
