I'm running a Vortech S-Trim on my 91Z28, but only boosting 6psi and non intercooled, kinda lame compared to some of the stuff you guys have. I'm gonna be removing it soon and putting it on my 89 IROC-Z. I'm going to be starting a TT build for this 91Z28 soon, building it around the old Gale Banks manifolds that accept any T04E turbo's.

Re: Boost Roll Call... if you've got it, come on in!

I just got my P1SC installed. I have an 8psi pulley but only get 5 psi with my heads and cam package.

Problems: I followed the procharger manual to the letter. I get a lot of blowby if I route the Pcv hose to the blower intake

Fix: I left the pcv line in its stock position and only routed the breather line (on passenger valve cover) to the blower intake.

Problem: The blower intake track looks like Sanford and Son.

Fix: I want to fabricate a one or two piece mandrel bent intake from the air filter to the supercharger. Anyone have any suggestions?

Most of my mods are in my sig. I might go with the PTE-88 instead of the PTE-76GTS. My PTK kit should arrive at my doorstep in a couple weeks. Jose over at forced inductions is going to have my stock heads fully reworked and he will also supply a custom turbo cam for my 355 build. My power goal is around 900+rwhp and to be deep into the 9's when all is said and done. Nothing like a turbocharged 4th gen!

JZ28Max, that's an interesting setup. Most people with auto's and loose converters don't post dyno numbers because they're so much lower than 6 spd numbers. How much boost are you running? Also, what kind of quarter mile times / mph you running?

Mike

Re: Boost Roll Call... if you've got it, come on in!

just finished the converter install yest. dyno was done with a much tighter converter(near stock). still need to work on the tune some. track times were with the old converter too. went 11.4 @125 with a 1.8 60ft, oh and 15psi.
i am sure when i get back on the dyno those nubers will come down though.
