Re: Boost Roll Call... if you've got it, come on in!

I'm not quite 'among your ranks' yet, but I have most of the parts ready for the buildup. Slowly but surely...

-Fully forged, solid-roller 383 -- Eagle 3.75 crank, Eagle 5.7" H-beams, JE extreme duty pistons (-31cc dish). I've been working with Lloyd Elliot on his LE2 package deal, and hope to have Bret Bauer work on the camshaft.

-Twin-intercooled ATI D1SC -- 12-rib, set up for 12# boost for the time being.

Here are some pictures -- first link is the engine, second is the procharger:

Thanks,
The engine builder suggested it when we decided to install the hei distributor. We both have decided it works very well but its a pain to take off and on and it doesn't give me much room under the hood

Re: Boost Roll Call... if you've got it, come on in!

My combination is still coming together too. Just need to find some time to put it all together!

I still need a long block, but have most everthing else. I'm going to have a forged 383 built with some aftermarket heads probably AFR or ?

I have a new T-trim with aftercooler and a Racetronix dual intank, LT4 intake, Mufflex 4", 12 bolt w/3.73s, Hooker long tubes, T-56, huge *** Griffin radiator with dual Spal fans, Koni SAs, some other handling suspension stuff, HRE wheels (11" rears)...

The list goes on. Anyways, I would like to get between 500-600 RWHP and be able to drive it on pump gas exclusively. The car will be set up for more handling and road racing than drag. I'd like to be able to have a top speed close to 200mph if possible or at least be able to go from 100 to 180 pretty damn fast.

Re: Boost Roll Call... if you've got it, come on in!

WE had it on the engine dyno last week to tune it and with 13lbs of boost we had 950 horsepower but after 3 passes one of the turbos blew and I wont have it back until tomorrow. We are planning on running it at 25 or so lbs of boost and hoping to have 1400 to 1500 horsepower to the flywheel after some tuning. I will post the actual numbers when I get them.

Jacob, you think think you'll have the new combo running this year? I wanna see all those parts I sold you in use.

Cody, definately awesome numbers. Looking to give Rick some competition in the LT1 department eh?

Speaking of Rick, the weather's getting warmer and the tracks are opening up... i wonder if they've gotten the 'bird back together. It sucks that they never got to run the car *****-to-the-wall last year. He said the next setup will be almost identical, so i'm sure they're going to he hitting 1250rwhp on the dyno again on high boost. That car is ****ing insane.

Anybody heard from him lately?

Everything in the sig. I finally did a drag suspension so hopefully the car will hook. As of now, the car spins and runs out of gear before I can finish. Still running 11.40's though. I smell tens this spring.
