ATI new inlet tube
Re: ATI new inlet tube
Thanks alot for the info. I also hate the dryer tube and wanted to change it for something better. I just sent out the p1sc for repairs. It exploded on sunday on my new 383. Luckily it was in the driveway and not under boost.
Re: ATI new inlet tube
You can order the new ATI inlet tube from ATi directly. Its about $120 something however we have yet to see this piece installed on a car.

Re: ATI new inlet tube
i just ordered one of these last week from ATI. I got it a few days ago, but I haven't had a chance to install it yet either. Hopefully by this weekend, it definately seems more sturdy and reliable than the orange hose.

How much it flows? I have no clue... however it is the plastic inlet indicated in that picture. I may have to order that this week.

Re: ATI new inlet tube
i don't know what hp level it's rated at, but it does come standard on most if not all their LT1 kits now. I know that it comes standard on the newer D1SC twin intercooled kits at least. So it's got to be able to handle at least the HP levels the D1 can produce (600-700+hp)??

Re: ATI new inlet tube
with the new tube you can still put the maf under the car but ati has updated the whole set up. The new set up puts the maf up top. For those of us with the older set ups you can pay $520 for the updated complete tubing or buy 2 reducers (3-3.5 inch) and put the maf up top ourselves.
