k, so I am getting long tube headers (kooks) and ory and I needed a few opinions on a couple things. should I :

1) buy the kooks w/ ory.
if i get the ory and it's too raspy can i add only one cat to the end of the y pipe to elimate most of the rasp??


OR
2) kooks with two straight pipes back until reaching the corsa. would this equal more or less rasp then option 1?? if this is chosen and there's too must rasp i would have to put two cats instead of one.

so which would be the better route??? any help is appreciated. thnx

 

I'm pretty sure Kooks does offer a catted y-pipe to go with their long tube headers, that may be something worth looking into if you are worried about raspiness. I don't think you will be able to go to a dual straight pipe setup and still retain the Corsa catback as it is designed to fit around a y-pipe, not a true dual setup.

 

For all that effort, just build yourself some true duals with quality mufflers, you won't be sorry.
