I have a 93 with a pcmforless.com custom tune,when I install my race version lts do I need to send in my chip and have it retuned?

 

Its possible you'll need a follow up tune. As long as you keep the fuse intact for the AIR pump circuit, you shouldn't trip an SES code. However, the EGR is a hit or miss and once you remove it, it is quite possible you'll trip a code.

 

But there is no other reason as to get a tune other than to delete the codes? I am still running the factory tune on mine.

I didn't remove the EGR with my race headers, I just blocked it all off, but the solenoid is still there along with the piping. All the pipes are just capped.
