SLP mids and BMR k member

the drivers side header on my LT1 is hitting my BMR kemember at the motor mount

I have SLP 1 3/4 mids for a single cat setup..

anyone else have this issue or have any ideas on how to fix it...

i guess im the only one with slp mids and a k member...


looks like im going to have to make some spacers to move the k member down...

I think it would be easier to slightly clearance the k-member than space it down. Making spacers to move the k-member down will create all types of alignment issues. Power steering, brake lines and lower control arms just to name a few...

Lowering the k-member would also lower the engine. The motor mounts are bolted directly on the K-member. So lowering the k-member would lower the engine which would also lower your headers. No point.

yeah .. .I see your point

Im going to have to put it back up on the lift and see if I can make some room...maybe I can take a little of the tube or off of the header flange.all I know is something is going to have to go
