Magnaflow Quad Tip Exhaust Pricing
Maganaflow 16723 Quad tip exhaust... What's the best price you guys have gotten on this one? It lists at almost $700, but the only difference is the 2 extra tips compared to the old Magnaflow, which is like $350. Doesn't make sense. Anybody know of a cheap place to get it? What did you pay?
I got my Magnaflow 16723 at MagnaflowPlanet.com for $513.43 and Free Shipping. They had the best price I could find and still have a valid warranty. Heres the link http://magnaflowplanet.com/product.p...uctid=6188?tw2
I didn't like the Magnaflow catback with the truck cannon tips, and the one you have listed was more than I wanted to spend. So I bought the Magnaflow muffler separately for $100 (part no. 12267) and the quad tips separately for $80 (part 35168) and it came out fine with a little work from the muffler shop. I tried to get the over the axle pipe from Magnaflow but they wouldn't sell it to me separately. My local muffler shop could have gotten it for me but supposedly the pipe from the catback isn't really the restrictive part, given that it's 2.75" v. 3.00" for the Magnaflow. My car is stock so I don't think it will make much of a difference.
The sound is much better than the stock muffler. It has a nice mellow sound and it's not too loud.
As far as seat of the pant performance, maybe a little better, but I think it's probably just a mind thing.
I don't have any sound clips but the ones people have posted with the catback are about right.
