Whats the difference in a glide and turbo converter?

Is it the input shaft...as I thought or the support?

I borrowed a converter and tried it in a spare trans to be 100% sure it will not go....so I pulled the pump off the input shaft fits but the support will simply not fit. will not go on at all. Just stops.

The one inside the converter looks alot smaller but I don't have anything to measure it with.

The input shaft splines.

well I took one out to see, the input fits fine but the support shaft will not fit. It is not the right size or something there is no burs or anything it just will not fit. I tried several times over about 3 hours.

I have another converter on the way I borrowed from someone else. Hopefully it will go with no problems
