A friend of mine told me that if you change the bellshosing to one off a 00' s-10 that it would bolt right up... Does anybody know if this is true... If not is there any way possible that to make a tranny for a ls1 work wit a lt1... The reason why i am asking this is because i got a tranny that came out of a 01 z28 laying in the garage and my the tannny in my 95 z28 jus blew out...

Thanks,

John

No, it won't work. The bellhousing on an auto is part of the case, so you can't just change the bellhousing, like on a manual. And no, there is no way to make it work. You need a 4L60E out of an LT1 F-body.
