How hard to fix?

There are 2 rubber rings inside of the driveshaft seal. They are grooved so that the will sling oil back into the case. I had a leak also and what I had was a broken rubber ring. Siliconed it back together and no more leak.

I had the bushing go on me too. Turns out its pressed into the tail housing and I ended up buying a new one as per the advice of a person more knowledgable than I. No more leaks.
