t-56 question

Whenever i get on my car, H/C 97 W-S6, the transmission seems to lift up very hard, which causes my shifter to move up in the car. I hope i am explaining this well. Basically the transmission moves up whenever the car gets throttle. What causes this, and is it normal for F-Bodies?

Re: t-56 question

Your tranny mount broken - very easy fix. You may consider replacing it with stronger polyurethane one.

Re: t-56 question

Yeah, i was thinking that may be it, but when i bought it i was told that it has the polyurethane mount, so until i get a chance to look at it, i thought maybe everyone on here would have a few ideas. Thanks for your input, anyone else.

Re: t-56 question

Inspect it - If it's poly mount, probably it's missing bolt(s). You can do it from the side, without even lifting car.
